RogueWeight

RogueWeight is a short, tongue-in-cheek roguelike that drops players into ruined dungeon corridors where giant, monstrous foods roam. Over randomly generated floors you control Erith, fighting or eating nearly anything edible to survive deeper levels; the unpredictable loot and the risk/reward of consuming strange meals drive tense, replayable runs. Built for a game jam in two weeks, RogueWeight appeals to players who like compact adventures with quirky themes, procedural levels, and quick sessions that still offer emergent strategies and surprising encounters.

Development Team

RogueWeight was developed as a two-week entry for the 2024 Gain Jam by a small team focused on rapid prototyping, playful mechanics, and compact design.

Version Information

Post-jam updates for RogueWeight include an in-browser update to v0.1.1 on 10/8, added mobile support for Android on 10/4, and the introduction of endless floors and other improvements on 9/15.
