According to the numbers, Space Marine 2 is currently trailing only Helldivers 2 in terms of sales, a cooperative multiplayer shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony. Considering Helldivers 2 has already surpassed 12 million copies sold, Space Marine 2's rapid success is remarkable. In fact, it could soon become the second-fastest-selling new title in Europe, just weeks after its release.

The sales figures also place Space Marine 2 ahead of several other highly anticipated 2024 releases, including Dragon's Dogma 2, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Star Wars Outlaws, and The Last of Us 2 Remastered.

If European sales of Black Myth: Wukong were included, it might significantly alter the rankings. Other breakout titles like Palworld could also shift the landscape once full sales data is analyzed.
