The only requirement is having the summon active, meaning it must be present and taking actions from its position on the action bar.

This 48% Crit DMG boost is a significant advantage for DPS characters with summon abilities. While the roster of summon-based characters is currently small, future updates suggest more characters with similar skills will join the game, making this relic even more valuable.

Best Characters to Equip The Wondrous BananAmusement Park Relic in Honkai: Star Rail

As of version 2.5, only three characters can fully benefit from the Wondrous BananAmusement Park set, thanks to their summon abilities. These characters can take full advantage of the extra 32% Crit DMG boost provided by this powerful Planar Ornament.

Topaz & Numby

Topaz automatically summons Numby at the start of combat, instantly activating the full effects of The Wondrous BananAmusement Park. As a Hunt character, Topaz benefits greatly from the Crit DMG boost, enhancing both her and Numby’s damage output. Since Topaz already has a decent amount of Crit DMG, players should focus on increasing her Crit Rate when building her stats.

Jing Yuan

Similar to Topaz, Jing Yuan summons his Lightning Lord at the beginning of the battle, immediately triggering the full passive boost from the Wondrous BananAmusement Park set. The Lightning Lord inherits Jing Yuan’s Crit stats, allowing it to deliver even stronger attacks as the battle progresses.

Lingsha

Though Lingsha is an Abundance character, she deals significant AoE fire damage and summons Fuyuan whenever she uses her Skill. This makes it easy for her to gain the Crit DMG boost from the Wondrous BananAmusement Park. While Lingsha and her summon heal based on her ATK%, it’s not ideal to focus solely on boosting her ATK. Instead, you can build her with Break and Crit DMG stats to balance her offensive capabilities with her sustainability.
