In Honkai: Star Rail, the Hexanexus puzzle frequently appears in the Xianzhou Luofu area, especially when exploring the mysterious Shacking Prison. However, players who have encountered this puzzle before will notice some differences in its Hexanexus: Remake version. While the core challenge remains the same, the mechanics and gameplay have been revamped, offering a fresh twist on this familiar puzzle.
Successfully completing this puzzle leads players, or Trailblazers, into contact with a mysterious group known as the Hex Club, a secret society tied to the Hexanexus. By handing over six Hex Passes to the imprisoned Seymour, players will unlock the next stage of the Hexanexus: Remake puzzle, all within the same location.
With the Hexanexus puzzle featured in the Festive Revelry event, it’s no surprise that the Hexanexus: Remake makes its appearance during the celebration in Honkai: Star Rail as well.
The Hexanexus: Remake is an updated version of the original puzzle from Honkai: Star Rail. While the earlier Hexanexus puzzle involved a 2x2 cube setup, the Remake expands to a 3x3 grid. The objective remains the same: players must match the cube patterns with the ones displayed on the sides. However, in this version, instead of rotating blocks, players must strategically place new cubes to achieve the desired pattern.
At the top right of the screen, players can see the number of cubes available for placement. Since the supply is limited, it's crucial for Trailblazers to carefully plan their moves and optimize the placement. Additionally, cubes cannot float, so each new cube requires support from below before it can be placed. This means players need to be mindful of the order in which they place the cubes to ensure successful completion of the puzzle.
Easy Mode – Level 1
To solve the first puzzle of the Hexanexus: Remake in the Festive Revelry Conventional Memoir, place a cube in the middle spot on the top-right level. This will serve as the anchor for the other three cubes.
Easy Mode – Level 2
For the second stage, start by placing a cube at the top spot on the middle-left level. This cube will provide support for the remaining three blocks.
Easy Mode – Level 3
In the final stage of easy mode, place one cube at the top spot on the top-left level. Use it as a base to support the second cube. The last block should be positioned at the bottom spot on the top-right level.
Hard Mode – Level 1
In the first level of hard mode, place an anchor cube in the middle spot on the bottom-middle level to support the next cube.
Hard Mode – Level 2
For this stage, position the anchor cube in the middle spot on the bottom-middle level, then stack two cubes above it. The remaining two blocks should be placed in the left and right corners.
Hard Mode – Level 3
In the final stage of hard mode, place the anchor cube in the middle spot on the bottom-middle level. Use this cube to secure the other two blocks.
