A recent leak in Genshin Impact has revealed that Xilonen’s signature weapon is set to receive a significant buff before its official release, enhancing its primary bonus.
Since the game’s launch in 2020, Genshin Impact has introduced a wide array of characters, each accompanied by a collection of weapons tailored to their specific abilities. Many of these weapons are "signature" pieces that are designed to perfectly complement a character’s playstyle, alongside various general-purpose weapons. A fresh leak now provides further insight into Xilonen’s upcoming release and her exclusive weapon.
Although HoYoverse has yet to officially unveil Xilonen’s signature weapon, leaks have given players a glimpse of her in-game sword. The sword is expected to offer various enhancements to Xilonen, boosting her DEF and increasing her Normal and Charged Attack damage when striking enemies. Additionally, her sword grants a stacking Elemental DMG buff to the entire team, with the bonus growing stronger as more stacks accumulate. Now, a new leak has revealed a major tweak to the weapon's second ability, which will directly benefit the sword's wielder.
According to a prominent Genshin Impact leaker, Foul, a recent leak has highlighted a substantial improvement to Xilonen’s weapon. The change focuses on the Elemental DMG buff, which will now apply to all characters on the team, including the wielder—whereas previously, the wielder was excluded from the bonus. This adjustment offers a compelling reason for players to use the sword not only on Xilonen but also on other characters who rely on Elemental DMG in their normal attacks. With Xilonen and her signature sword set to debut in Version 5.1, slated for mid-October, this weapon is already shaping up to be a must-have for players.
The upgrade to Xilonen’s weapon follows earlier leaks about her abilities and role in the game. Xilonen, a Geo character, is expected to function as a sub-DPS or support, dealing Geo DMG based on her DEF and offering healing to her team through her Elemental Burst. Additionally, she will feature a unique "Nightsoul Blessing" mechanic, allowing her to equip roller skates for faster movement within the game.
Xilonen’s release in Version 5.1 will be part of a larger update, which promises a host of new content for Genshin Impact. Players will be returning to the Sumeru region to participate in the latest Sabzeruz Festival, the central event of the update. Rumors also suggest new areas of Natlan will be available for exploration, expanding the ever-growing world of Genshin Impact. With the addition of Xilonen and her versatile weapon, players can look forward to even more strategic options in the game’s lineup of powerful characters and gear.
If you're excited to see how Xilonen and her weapon will impact the game's meta, stay tuned for the Version 5.1 update in mid-October!
