Drawing inspiration from the beloved style of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, this latest installment marks the 21st release in the Zelda franchise. In Echoes of Wisdom, players will assume the role of Princess Zelda as the central hero, tasked with rescuing Link and saving Hyrule from the clutches of Ganon using the powerful Tri Rod. The game is now available for pre-order, with players set to encounter familiar races such as the Gerudo, Gorons, and Zora.

Stephen Totilo, a prominent game journalist, shared insights from his 90-minute playthrough of Echoes of Wisdom during the Nintendo preview event in New York City. Totilo's Twitter update featured a brief 40-second clip showcasing the game’s map and providing a glimpse of Zelda’s key abilities and the game’s intricate level design.

The revealed map boasts an ancient aesthetic typical of Zelda titles. The video offered a sneak peek at the primary quest, “The Mysterious Rifts,” revealing that Princess Zelda finds herself transported to a small cave via an underground waterway. It’s important to note that the clip displayed an incomplete version of the map, with the Still World region yet to be shown.
