In Star Wars Outlaws, Mos Algo is a treasure trove of secrets waiting to be uncovered. Nestled within this deserted area, you’ll encounter the fearsome Nightcrawler Worm, a colossal sand creature, while also having the opportunity to discover four valuable treasures. If you prefer a calmer experience focused on treasure hunting rather than fleeing from the Nightcrawler, this guide will help you locate every chest and Smuggler Cache in the region.
Note: The rewards from treasure chests are randomized and may differ for each player.
Location: Above the Landing Pad
Start at Mos Algo’s landing pad and turn to your left to find a climbable wall marked with white and yellow stains. Ascend this wall to reach the abandoned mine storage, where you can uncover the first treasure chest. Once you’re in the vicinity, press up on the D-pad to activate Nix’s senses and pinpoint the chest.
Location: Hidden Pathway Beyond the Landing Pad
A short distance from the landing pad, you’ll discover a narrow path leading to a mine entrance. Look to your left, near the first few houses in the mining settlement, to find it. Follow this path until you come across a mine cart buried under debris. Clear the rocks blocking your way, then loot the chest nestled inside the outcropping to reveal the second treasure of Mos Algo.
Location: The Hill in Front of the Landing Pad
In front of the landing pad, you’ll notice a spot where you can use a grappling hook. Ascend to the top of the hill and scale the walls to reach the watchtower. The third treasure chest awaits you at the end of this lookout. You can make a quick descent using the nearby grappling hook located next to the chest. This treasure is positioned just a few feet outside the abandoned city.
Location: Mos Algo’s Abandoned Mine
The last treasure in Mos Algo is concealed behind a puzzle. Here’s how to unlock it:
Find the Mine Supply Room Keycard: Look for a house with a generator in the mining settlement. One of the abandoned houses features a locked gate that you can open with Blaster’s ion shots. Once inside, collect the Mine Supply Room Keycard.
Locate the Secret Path in the Abandoned Mine: After entering the mine by squeezing through the rocks, find a gap in the wall on your left. This hidden passage leads to the Supply Room, but you’ll need to blast some rocks obstructing your way.
Restore the Power: Have Nix hold the shutter open while you shoot the generator to restore power.
Unlock the Supply Room: Once the power is back on, use the keycard to open the gate and claim the final treasure in Mos Algo.
Just a few miles from the landing pad, outside the mining settlement of Mos Algo, you’ll come across a path leading to a blocked mine entrance. This area is identifiable by the persistent mist that gives it a stormy vibe. Follow this path down until you discover Smuggler Cache 13, cleverly concealed behind some broken mine carts.
With this guide in hand, you're ready to explore Mos Algo and unearth all its hidden treasures. Happy hunting!
