Zenless Zone Zero - Exciting Leak Unveils New Bangboo

A recent leak concerning Zenless Zone Zero has unveiled the development of a new Bangboo set to join the game soon. In Zenless Zone Zero, players recruit new characters and acquire tools to enhance their abilities through a pulling mechanism. These tools include W-Engines, Disc Drives, and the handy Bangboos.

Designed to assist city residents in evacuating during Hollow disasters, Bangboos resemble small robotic figures. Players can obtain Bangboos through a dedicated banner that becomes accessible during Chapter One: Intermission. Once acquired, these figures can be assigned to the player's team, granting the party both passive and active skills. In the latest update, Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.2, HoYoverse introduced Red Moccus, a Rank S Bangboo that rides a motorcycle and synergizes well with Sons of Calydon characters.

Details on the Upcoming Bangboo: Baddieboo

According to the leak, the new Bangboo, named Baddieboo, is classified as Rank A. This information was shared by Reddit user mayonakanosasayaki, who revealed that Baddieboo's active skill, Rocket Barrage, unleashes Fire damage by launching missiles and Molotov cocktails.

Baddieboo also features a Bangboo Chain Attack known as Rocket Blast, allowing it to fire a missile that inflicts Fire damage across a wide area. Additionally, it possesses a unique ability called Unusually Short Fuse, which boosts the damage of the Bangboo Chain Attack by 40% when the player's squad includes at least one Anomaly character.

Baddieboo’s Journey in Zenless Zone Zero

Interestingly, while Baddieboo is an upcoming addition, players may recognize it from the Special Episode "Undercover R&B," a main mission featuring Jane Doe that was introduced in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1. However, Baddieboo was not accessible through other means at that time.

Although there is no confirmed release date for Baddieboo, many players speculate that it will debut in Version 1.3, as it appears in the beta for this update. Some community members, however, believe its launch might be postponed to patch 1.4.

Baddieboo is just one of the exciting additions showcased in the Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.3 beta. Other leaks from this beta reveal the existence of two additional Bangboos: Knightboo and Agent Gulliver, which are rumored to be Rank A and Rank S, respectively.
