After making it through the Hyrule Castle dungeon, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom players unlock three new areas: Holy Mount Lanayru, Eldin Volcano, and the Faron Wetlands. Each location hosts a Rift and a corresponding Temple that serves as the game's fifth, sixth, and seventh dungeons.
However, accessing these dungeons isn’t straightforward. Each zone requires players to complete a series of quests to unlock the dungeon within. Specifically, to enter the Faron Temple, players must first acquire a Membership Card.
The process of obtaining the Membership Card isn't overly difficult, but it does require thorough exploration of the Faron Wetlands, completing a major Rift, and escaping a tricky prison sequence—all without the help of your trusty Tri Rod.
Upon reaching the Faron Wetlands, Zelda must secure a Membership Card to access the Faron Temple dungeon. This card grants entry to an exclusive club called the Sweet Spot, located in northern Scrubton, where the Deku Scrubs gather to enjoy “Cotton Candy”—a plant that grows near Rift zones.
The Faron Temple is concealed within a Rift inside the Sweet Spot, but you won’t be allowed in without a Membership Card. To obtain one, you’ll need to track down someone willing to part with theirs.
The Deku Scrub you need to find is Blossu, who resides in the bottom-right corner of the Faron Wetlands. Speaking to the other Scrubs in the area will point you toward the southernmost part of the zone. However, be mindful—while the bottom-left corner houses the Stilled Heart Lake Rift, Blossu’s home is actually in the opposite direction.
Head south from Scrubton until you reach the southeastern corner of the Faron Wetlands, which also marks the bottom-right edge of the world map. Approaching this area triggers a cutscene where you’ll encounter a group of Deku Scrubs gathered near the Rift.
Blossu, easily recognized by the flower on her head, laments that no one is heeding her warnings about the nearby Rift. After inquiring about her Membership Card, you’ll need to venture into the Stilled World version of Blossu’s house and locate all five of Tri’s Friends to seal the Rift.
After exiting the Rift, the nearby Deku Scrubs will accuse Zelda of being a “MONSTER” for getting rid of the Cotton Candy. This outburst lands her in jail, locked away in the Deku Scrub Lockup.
Without the Tri Rod, escaping becomes a bit more challenging. However, with Tri still by your side, you can use the Bind skill to grab the key that one of the guards drops. Pull the key through the bars, pick it up, and unlock all the doors in the lockup area, including your own cell.
Once free, head downstairs using the staircase on the left (the one on the right is for later). Stepping outside will immediately alert the guards, so you’ll need to move carefully through two stealth sections to avoid being caught.
The first stealth section is tricky since you don’t have your Tri Rod or Echoes, but the Deku Scrub guards follow simple, predictable patterns.
1. First Guard: Move left, pick up the crate at the bottom of the screen, and place it behind you. Then grab the next crate to avoid crossing paths with the guard at the top.
2. Second Guard: Wait for the guard to turn left, then dash to the bottom of the room. Once it turns right, quickly run to the top.
3. Third and Fourth Guards: These two guards rotate in opposite directions in the center of a large room. Wait until both are looking up and down, then sneak behind the crates. When they look right and left, make your move to the left side of the room.
At the end of this area, descend the stairs and unlock the door opposite the shrubs in the middle of the room. Climb down the ramp, then use your Bind skill to lift a bed over a cell door and bring it to the far right side of the hallway.
Behind some shrubs is another room where you can collect a Heart Piece after moving the furniture. The Frog Ring can come in handy here since you won’t have access to your best Echoes. Eventually, you’ll confront the Deku Scrub who took Zelda’s Tri Rod, eating Cotton Candy with it.
After a brief dialogue, you’ll retrieve your Tri Rod, allowing you to unlock a blue eye trigger to escape. You’ll then return to the room where your cell was located, but this time you’ll be better equipped to handle the second stealth section.
Now that you have your Tri Rod and Echoes back, navigating the second stealth section becomes more manageable. Summon three Water Blocks and use them to climb a wall on the right side. Use a bed or Flying Tile Echo to get across the small gap at the top of the room, and fly directly to the end of the lockup.
In the final stage of the lockup, you’ll enter an underwater side-scrolling area. Use the Swordfighter form to break boxes and clear a path through the water. Overcome various obstacles, including defeating Hydrozol enemies and using a Flying Tile to bypass a waterfall.
Upon escaping the lockup, Blossu will engage Zelda in another conversation, ultimately handing over her Membership Card. With the card in hand, you’re free to enter the Sweet Spot, seal the Rift, and conquer the Faron Temple dungeon—the fifth major dungeon in Echoes of Wisdom.
