In the Pagoda Realm, you’ll occasionally notice the background music intensify—this signals the onset of the Pagoda Curse. This temporary curse reduces your character's health by half, which can be quite disruptive. During this cursed period, a new enemy type, the Lantern Wardens, will emerge.

Lantern Wardens: What You Need to Know

Lantern Wardens are dangerous foes that roam the Pagoda Realm. If they spot you, they can grab and toss you into a pit, resulting in death. It’s crucial to find and defeat all Lantern Wardens to obtain the Auspicious Lantern Curio.

Locations of Lantern Wardens

There are nine Lantern Wardens scattered across various floors of the Pagoda Realm.

Keep in mind that defeating Captain Wise-Voice near the Mani Wheel Keeper's Shrine will prevent further Lantern Wardens from appearing.
