Shizuku is a developer-oriented utility that lets apps access selected system APIs by running a local service other apps can bind to. Shizuku reduces the need for device root by allowing authorized apps to perform privileged operations when the service is started via ADB, a root shell, or the supported start methods described in the app.
Shizuku runs a lightweight service with a binder interface; other apps connect to that service to call system APIs on their behalf. This design keeps the permission model explicit: the service must be started once per device session and apps request access through the usual Android permission mechanisms.
Shizuku does not collect personal content beyond basic usage diagnostics when enabled; consult the in-app settings for privacy options and follow official documentation for detailed setup and safety notes.
