Artha: Budget Tracker

Artha: Budget Tracker is a private expense tracker that converts bank SMS alerts into organized spending records so you can see where your money goes without typing or ads. Everything is processed on your device with no analytics, no tracking, and no account required, allowing you to confirm or dismiss parsed transactions with a single tap. If you prefer hands-free entry, Artha: Budget Tracker also supports voice input, category budgets, visual reports, and optional CSV cloud backup to your own account for easy restore on a new phone.

Key Features

⭐ Automatic expense detection from incoming bank SMS alerts, extracting amount, merchant, and transaction type on-device.

⭐ One-tap confirm or dismiss workflow for transactions captured from senders you trust.

⭐ Voice entry for quick, hands-free logging with local audio processing (disabled by default).

⭐ Category budgets, trend charts, and monthly summary reports to visualize spending patterns.

⭐ Supports many Philippine and Southeast Asian bank SMS formats, including BDO, BPI, GCash, Maya, Metrobank, and UnionBank.

Advantages

✅ Artha: Budget Tracker processes SMS content entirely on your phone so no message data is uploaded or shared.

✅ No ads, no analytics SDKs, and no account sign-in required for basic use.

✅ Quick setup with the SMS-based feature disabled by default and only activated with your permission.

✅ Optional CSV backup to your own cloud account allows one-tap restore when switching devices.

✅ Automatic parsing saves time by reducing manual entry and keeps your expense history organized.

Disadvantages

❎ Requires SMS permission to read bank alerts, which some users may be uncomfortable granting.

❎ Relies on SMS-formatted transaction messages, so transactions sent by other channels may not be captured automatically.

❎ Recognition may be limited for unsupported or non-standard bank message formats outside the listed regions and banks.
