Development Team

G1 was launched on September 18, 2006 as Globo's first newsroom created specifically for the digital world. The project combined TV Globo's journalism teams with Globo's internet division to form a dedicated editorial structure for online reporting, and by 2008 G1 had become the leading news portal in Brazil.
